Leica Laser Tracker AT960
Superior 6DoF laser tracker technology in a remarkably portable and user-friendly design.
A sturdy, multipurpose laser tracker that just requires one flight bag is the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960. It is a comprehensive solution for reflector measuring, scanning, automated inspection, and six degrees of freedom (6DoF) probing, and it comes with high-speed dynamic measurement as standard.
The AT960 laser tracker provides high-performance measurement practically anywhere because it is portable, quick to unpack, and takes only a few minutes to power up. Users benefit from unparalleled speed, accuracy, and portability thanks to dynamic features and adaptable functionality.
Long setup times are eliminated by the AT960’s integrated technology architecture, which includes wireless connection and a battery operating option. The cutting-edge PowerLock feature guarantees that an interrupted beam is immediately restored without user involvement, minimizing operator labor and training needs, while the Leica Absolute Interferometer (AIFM) allows precise high-speed measurement to a moving target. Time, effort, and money are saved via intuitive touch-screen controls that reduce the possibility of user error. Robust design ensures on-specification operations with little calibration and service, while check and compensation architecture allows for simple field adjustments.
The AT960 becomes a laser tracker solution that satisfies the deterministic measurement data-delivery needs of high-end automated installations when paired with the Real-Time Feature Pack and Leica T-Mac. It allows 6DoF measurement data with precise timestamps to be delivered at an output rate of up to 1000 Hertz and is based on the well-established EtherCAT protocol. This allows for real-time machine control in even the most dynamic robotic setups and is referred to as 7DoF measurement data.
The AT960 can measure up to 160 meters in diameter and works with the Absolute Scanner line, Leica T-Mac, and Leica T-Probe. Because of its adaptability, it may be used for a wide range of inspection applications, from in-line to quality lab; in the factory to the field; and it guarantees that users have the appropriate instrument for each measurement problem.
Leica Laser Tracker AT930
The Leica Absolute Tracker AT930 is a next-generation 3D laser tracker that stands out from the competition thanks to its high-speed dynamic measurement capabilities and Leica Absolute Interferometer (AIFM). It is the quick, precise, and easy method of measuring reflectors because of its real-time architecture, automatic target placement, and instantaneous beam restoration capability.
The AT930’s sturdy integrated technology design, which has been certified to IP54 requirements by the IEC, allows it to be measured in even the most extreme situations without the need for other accessories.
The AT930 is the perfect answer for high-speed measurements in volumes up to 160 m (Ø) because it is the 3D version of the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 and has all of the AT960’s features and functionality, with the exception of variozoom 6DoF compatibility. The AT930 provides a flexible portable 3D laser tracker solution that is compatible with reflectors for line of sight measurement.
Operators no longer have to worry about breaking the beam since the most recent generation of the PowerLock active vision technology makes sure that the laser automatically follows the user and re-establishes an interrupted beam with a typical uncertainty of just 10 µm. The real-time operating system allows for a measurement rate of up to 1,000 points per second, while the AIFM offers the accuracy of an absolute distance meter and the speed of an interferometer.
Users may easily unpack the tracker and begin measuring thanks to its included leveling equipment, environmental monitoring, and overview camera. The AT930 can function almost anyplace and has wireless connection and a mains power or battery alternative.
Leica Laser Tracker ATS600
Manufacturers are increasingly interested in digitally pinpointing and inspecting large parts and surfaces that are simply out of range of a traditional handheld 3D laser scanner, touch probe or reflector. The Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600 is ready to meet the challenges of these new applications with a unique working principle that can accurately locate a point in 3D space with metrology-grade accuracy without the need for a reflector at the point of measurement.
Based on the established Wave-Form Digitiser technology behind some high-end surveying tools, the ATS600 is powered by the first ever Scanning Absolute Distance Meter, a metrology-grade iteration of this technical principle that can locate a point to within 300 microns from up to 60 metres away.
By measuring a series of such points across a user-definable measurement area, the ATS600 can quickly produce a measurement grid defining the target measurement surface. The density of that point-grid is also customisable, putting the operator in complete control of the balance between process speed and the level of detail that will feed into your metrology software.
With the Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600, a single operator may rapidly introduce items into the realm of 3D analysis that previously needed substantial time expenditures to digitize or that were even beyond the practical realm of effective measurement. Thanks to a fundamental change in how we think about 3D measurement, the world’s first “direct scanning laser tracker” is paving the way for productive quality control to spread into completely new production domains.
Many of the capabilities found in the rest of our Absolute Tracker product line are also available in the ATS600, such as reflector measurement up to 80 meters away and complete PowerLock capability. For large-scale measuring activities, the combination of reflector measurement and direct scanning capabilities yields excellent all-around performance. Individual reflector readings are used for alignment and feature definition, while scanning rapidly describes surfaces.
Leica Laser Tracker AT500
The Leica Absolute Tracker AT500 simplifies measuring without sacrificing resilience, productivity, or portability. A simple setup process makes it easy to go from transport case to large-scale measurement, and the AT500’s IP54-rated protection and wide operating temperature range ensure that it can function even in the most trying circumstances. The AT500 is prepared for any manufacturing and assembly task, regardless of size or location, thanks to features like simpler 6DoF probing functionality and reflector measurement up to 160 meters from the tracker.
Productivity made easy
Our simplest laser tracker to date is the AT500. Once the travel case is powered on, you can begin measuring. Because of the integrated controller and battery power, there are no connections needed, and neither leveling nor reflector initialization is necessary. The system is powered by two hot-swappable, IATA-compliant batteries that have a maximum runtime of six hours. The most recent version of our revolutionary PowerLock automatic aiming technology prevents time waste, and measurement is also faster—at 100 Hz, point collecting is ten times quicker than with the AT403. Additionally, the new AT500 Connect App (available for iOS and Android) enhances the system by enabling network setup and leveling to be done on your tablet or smartphone.
Next-gen probing
For entry-level probing, the B-Probe offers an entirely new user experience. Live feedback and a broad acceptance angle of up to 16° in either direction at a distance of up to 12 meters from the tracker are now features of fully wireless measuring. Along with an enhanced battery runtime of up to 6 hours and improved, more robust buttons, the new probe unit also has probing measurement accuracy that complies with ISO 10360-10.
Measure anywhere
With its expanded operating temperature range of -15 to +50°C and IP54-rated protection from the weather, the AT500 enables measurement from the mountainside to the foundry. Additionally, the AT500 is more portable than ever before because of its integrated design and built-in controller, which is a first for an Absolute Tracker system.
